June 28th 2008  Cooking with Wine

Have you ever wanted to cook with wine but were not sure where to begin? Adams County Winery will ease your mind! In conjunction with the Gettysburg Hotel, Adams County Winery is proud to present Cooking with Wine. This interactive and informative seminar will take place on Saturday, the 28th of June from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at our downtown Gettysburg location (25 Chambersburg St). Watch as the Gettysburg Hotel Executive Chef Shelley Funt creates mouth-watering dishes before your very eyes, all using your favorite Adams County Winery wines. Not only will you sample our delicious wines and the fantastic food creations, but you will also learn the “how and why” of cooking with wine. Price for this event is $55 per couple or $35 per individual. Space is limited; please call (717) 334-4631 to make your reservation.

Great News for All Wine Enthusiasts! You can make your own wine quickly and easily in your own home and John, our vintner, will show you how to do it!

All classes start promptly at 1pm. $25 per person. RSVP's are required.

A favorite every year -- Wine Appreciation Classes!

The Vintner from Adams County Winery takes an informative, but humorous, approach to this subject. John will teach you about vineyard activities, the wine-making process, wine attributes, and then (everybody's favorite), tasting. Admission includes a tour of the operations area and hors d'oeuvres.

Each Class is from 6 to 8 P.M.! Classes are held from January through April.

$35 per person. $60 per couple.
