Farm Winery Events Summer 2008: July 5, 12, 19, 26 and August 2, 9, 16, 23, 30: Free Summer Concerts at the Winery ~ Come enjoy a free concert, a bottle of chilled wine, and great food from 1-5 p.m. at Adams County Winery’s Farm Winery. Bring a blanket, lawn chair, or come early for a seat at one of our picnic tables. The concerts are family events; children are welcome. July 5 - Chicago Blues: Skyla Burrell Blues Band July 12 - 60s Rock: The Willys July 19 - 50s & 60s Classic Rock & Country: Make "N" Changes July 26 - 60s to 90s, Big Band & Country: The WOW Brothers August 2 - 50s: Billy Hedrick August 9 - Country & Classic Rock: Traditions Unleashed August 16 - 60s to 90s, Big Band & Country: The WOW Brothers August 23 - Bluegrass: Hanover Express August 30 - Chicago Blues: Skyla Burrell Blues Band August 10: Home Wine-making Class with John, the Vintner ~ Learn how to make wine at Adams County Winery from John, the Vintner. John will take you from the very beginning of your home wine-making experience, like figuring out how to get the home wine-making kit open, to the very end of your home wine-making experience, bottling your own wine! You'll learn tricks of the trade and tips on how to get the best product from a box! Cost: $25, Reservations Required. September 14: Parrots on the Patio ~ Summer isn’t over yet! Adams County Winery will be serving up great food, awesome music, and delicious wine at the Farm Winery from 12-4pm. Fall 2008: October 18: Home Wine-making Class with John, the Vintner ~ Learn how to make wine at Adams County Winery from John, the Vintner. John will take you from the very beginning of your home wine-making experience, like figuring out how to get the home wine-making kit open, to the very end of your home wine-making experience, bottling your own wine! You'll learn tricks of the trade and tips on how to get the best product from a box! October 25: Halloween at the Winery ~ Visit with the ghosts of Adams County Winery. Taste their wine concoctions and participate in their ghoulish games. From 12-4pm at the Farm Winery.
June 2008: June 28: Cooking with Wine ~ Learn how to use wine in everyday recipes to add a little something to your meals at Adams County Winery’s downtown Gettysburg wine shop. Reservations are required. An admission fee will be charged.
The Adams County Winery is located in Orrtanna, Pennsylvania, just 15 minutes west of the Gettysburg National Monument, the site of Pickett's Charge, the site of the most famous Civil War battle. Civil War history is relived in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania each weekend during the summer, and while you are there, come visit us and taste our award winning wines.
