Volunteers
Adams County Winery is always looking for volunteers to pour wine at the various festivals at our winery and those we attend elsewhere throughout the year. Volunteering entitles you to free festival admission, which typically includes a commemorative wineglass and wine sampling, plus a 20% discount on any purchases of our wine at the festival. We will provide you with Adams County Winery apparel to wear that day, as well. We generally have volunteers work 4 hours each day. The rest of the day, you're free to enjoy the Festival. If you like interacting with people, pouring wine is usually a lot of fun. A few house rules:
* If you say you're going to show up, please do so.
* Refrain from smoking while doing your volunteer work.
* Sorry, no sampling while on duty.
* You must be at least 18 years old.

The Adams County Winery is located in Orrtanna, Pennsylvania, just 15 minutes west of the Gettysburg National Monument, the site of Pickett's Charge, the site of the most famous Civil War battle. Civil War history is relived in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania each weekend during the summer, and while you are there, come visit us and taste our award winning wines.
