Harvest Fest at the Farm Winery
September 30 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Happy Harvest Season! Are you ready for fall wine, grape stomping, live music, and more?
We are excited to be releasing a pair of fall seasonal wines, Apple Pie and Dancing Pumpkin, at its annual Harvest Fest celebration on Saturday, September 30th at the Farm Winery.
Apple Pie, a sweet, apple-wine blend, is made from a blend of four apple varietals picked locally in Adams County, PA, and infused with natural flavors of cinnamon and vanilla to create sweet apple pie flavors for $19.99 plus tax.
Dancing Pumpkin is a spiced, white, wine featuring a cozy medley of traditional fall spices, rich pumpkin flavors, and Vidal grapes $18.99 plus tax.
These wines will be available for purchase at the Farm Winery in Orrtanna and the Gettysburg Wine Shop, while Apple Pie will also be available online on the winery’s website and on shelves at select Giant grocery store locations.
Guests attending the celebration will have the chance to experience our free grape stomp and while supplies last, for $20, guests can “stomp” an exclusive Adams County Winery Harvest Fest T-shirt with their grape juice footprint for a one-of-a-kind-souvenir!
The Tasting Room will also be offering Mulled Dancing Pumpkin and a Harvest Apple Ginger Smash. Mulled Dancing Pumpkin is the Dancing Pumpkin wine infused with mulling spices and warmed up, for $8 per glass, and the Harvest Apple Ginger Smash is the Apple Pie wine mixed with ginger soda, garnished with a sliced apple, and served in an Adams County Winery mason jar for $13. Guests will be able to take the mason jar home with them after finishing their drink.
Schizophonic will be playing at the Farm Winery during the event from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and the Terrace Bistro, open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., will be offering a special “Pig Roast” pizza for $20 (plus tax) to celebrate the harvest. The “Pig Roast” is a specialty pizza featuring a house-made BBQ sauce topped with pulled pork, apples, red onions, and cheddar cheese.
There will also be local vendors set up on the winery grounds and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the winery will be holding a silent auction of an Adams County Winery wine barrel with the proceeds benefiting the Adams County SPCA.
No outside alcohol is permitted. This is a rain-or-shine event.
See you there!
