Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Adams County Winery. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

Where We Ship

We currently ship to 40 states and the District of Columbia.

Weather Policy

Severe weather can compromise wine. Wine is a perishable item. We keep a close eye on national forecasts to ensure we ship your wine in the best conditions possible. We may issue shipping advisories during the summer and winter months and may hold your wine shipment due to temperatures that are too hot or cold. Please note that during times of heat exceeding 85 degrees we will be unable to ship.

Adult Signature

It is REQUIRED that someone 21 or older be present when alcohol is delivered. UPS must get a signature from someone 21 or older upon delivery. Please make sure that you follow your delivery through the UPS tracking system, so that you can make sure someone 21 or older is present on the date of delivery.

IF, after 3 attempts, UPS fails to deliver the shipment it will be returned to the Winery.  The Winery will not be reimbursed for shipping expenses.  Therefore, if you want to have your delivery sent again you will need to pay an additional shipping fee.

Shipment Processing Time

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not typically processed on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.  Delivery delays can occasionally occur.

Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Refund Policy
All payments are final and no refunds will be processed.
