The Gettysburg Wine Shop is excited to showcase art pieces from local artists within the wine shop, with art being rotated in and out of the shop throughout the year!
Our featured artist for June and July is Bill Lester, a fifth generation artist and photographer.
“Being able to capture a tiny piece of time, a forgotten piece of history, or the beauty that nature gives us and have the viewer feel what I felt at that moment is truly a rewarding and special feeling,” Lester says of his work.
His work has been shown in the Gettysburg Wine Shop before and at galleries in the Scranton area.
Strolling through downtown Gettysburg? Pop into the Wine Shop for a glass, a flight, or a scoop of Wine Sorbet. Check out the gorgeous employee-created window displays, peruse the hanging local artist showcases, shop around the Tasting Room Store, and grab a bottle to take along to one of the many local BYOB restaurants!
We offer a small assortment of crackers and Mr. Ed’s candy to snack on while you sip. We always encourage guests to bring their own food or to support a local restaurant who is providing take out!
There are a few seated and standing tables available at the Gettysburg Wine Shop located at the front of the store.
