Enjoy a visit to one of the state's oldest wineries, but don't worry... there are also plenty of new additions to get excited about.
Adams County Winery opened its doors in 1975 in Orrtanna, PA and is currently Pennsylvania’s fifth oldest operating winery. The Farm Winery location in Orrtanna sits on 40 acres of beautiful rolling hills and farmland. The winery operates out of an 1860’s bank barn and is a registered historic bank barn of Adams County. In 1988, our Tears of Gettysburg was born and remains one of the oldest wines in Pennsylvania. We grow eight different varieties of grapes, with a vineyard that spans 12.5 acres.
We are Adams County’s original winery, and the 5th oldest operating winery in Pennsylvania. We believe in building authentic relationships and experiences through the sharing of knowledge and passion for what we do.
